I hit 100 edits on Sunday and wrapping up week 15 brings me to 105 edits. Unreal! This week I kept the spirit of Halloween in mind as I moved through. I didn't feel like I had the time to get in the Halloween spirit this year aside from these inspired edits. Normally I celebrate with fun costumes, classic Halloween films, and chocolate. I did have some chocolate though because there's always time for a bit of chocolate.
On edits #101, 102, and 103 I incorporated an image of fire (see below) I took earlier in the year. Overlays always provide a wealth of options. For edit #104 I wanted to bring out the triangle that keeps popping out to me in the upper left of the raw image. One triangle led to another with a dash of reddish/violet color filter. Check out the rest of week 15 here.
I've been pretty busy getting ready for an upcoming show next weekend. Had to decide on what images to print and frame, what sizes to print them at. Then there's all the smaller matted prints, greeting cards, and postcards. I handle the production of those items, and outsource my framed prints to Dan at Sweetwater Picture Framing. He's done some lovely work on my framing the past few months, a huge step up from my previous framing. I'm looking forward to sharing a space with him outside his shop in the downtown Sun Center during the Fall Downtown Art Festival next weekend. Stop by and say hello!
